Yvonne White is a dynamic creative force. She has been a top independent event planner in Hollywood for the celebrity driven parties and studio events for over 25 years. Her journey includes being the host of her own television show, inventor of home furnishings and now she has developed her own line of exotic furnishings for discerning tastes, The Yvonne E. White Collection.
This piece was designed for a little gathering she planned for her clientele celebrating her anniversary. One of the brand icons is the peacock feather, so I simply used a image that I shot for her a while back.
Over the last two years, I have produced a number of bran aesthetic pieces including photography, invites, promos, etc. As she has moved into the production of GREEN collection we developed a host of industry leading brand items featuring my images.
Congrats Yvonne!

Dr. Art Ulene Promo - Juan Roberts
An associate, Vivian Komori, was one of the driving forces for a wonderful event held here a few weeks ago, featuring Dr. Art Ulene, from the Today show. One of her passions is Friendship Bridge, an organization that supports women in Guatemala with micro loans.
This fund raising dinner was simply an evening with the doctor (retired). He spoke of his world travels and expressed a keen observation regarding how one truly travels -- either to see and shop or to experience -- it was very cool.
I was honored to sit at his table and chat a bit, but most of his time was spent sharing pictures and stories about how very little money is needed to support a woman for a whole year to develop her own business and feed her family.
We developed a campaign of 4 eblasts that generated thousands of impressions within a week of release. The event was well attended on a Thursday night at the Antelope Valley Country Club. They raised over $7,000 and I am sure it is going to good use -- most of the money goes directly to the women, because most of the work done to run the organization is supplied by volunteers.
I'm glad to have been a part of this endeavor. Not my usual thing, but is was a broadening experience. The theme of the evening was Bridging Cultures and Building Futures. It was indeed.
